The manager who was hit in the face said the customer escalated the situation because he wanted more ham. I did not expect this. Continental Carbonic Products Inc. announced they'd be building a high-capacity liquid CO2 and dry ice manufacturing facility next to the PGP ethanol plant in September 2016. "Dry ice is a form of solidified carbon dioxide, it's used in primarily food applications for keeping food cold," plant manager David Schultz said. "It's also used in the pharmaceutical and automotive industry.

Missouri Popeyes employee, 17, shoots man inside restaurant

Bridgeton, MO — An argument inside a fast food restaurant Saturday in Missouri resulted in an employee shooting a customer, according to police. Bridgeton, Missouri police say a 17-year-old employee at a Popeye’s restaurant shot a customer in the lobby. Investigators say there was an altercation between the customer and a female employee that led up to the shooting. The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and the employee was taken into custody.

Curwensville man found guilty of raping woman inside Clearfield Co. apartment

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say a Curwensville man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman inside a Clearfield County apartment in 2022. Following a two-day trial, officials say Douglas Albert was convicted Thursday on most of the charges he faced, which included rape of an unconscious victim, sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault. Police charged Albert last July after he was accused of assaulting the woman while she was staying at a friend's apartment.

Local wrestler explains decision to flip from Penn State to Rutgers

Earlier this week, a local wrestler with offers from many top-level colleges made his commitment. Bishop McCort's Mason Gibson initially planned on staying home and going to Penn State, but after opening up his recruitment process one last time before he graduated, Gibson explained why Rutgers will be his next home. Mason Gibson initially planned on following his older brother Erik Gibson to Penn State next year. The brothers were committed to Cornell at first, before both flipped to stay in Pennsylvania.

New brewery to open in DuBois

DUBOIS - A unique nano-brewery will open its doors Saturday in Clearfield County. BoxCar Brew Works is located at the Depot at Doolittle's on Rich Valley Highway in DuBois. Brewer and manager, John Frampton, said the concept is to provide a place for home brewers and secondary brewers to share their products. "It's an original idea. I don't know of any other brewery doing it," Frampton said. "There's a lot of home brewers out there that only brew products for family and friends.
